Gold beetles are enemies in Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon. They function like the regular beetles, except they drop a Gold Bar when defeated. They appear only in the ScareScraper, where they can be found rarely only while inspecting furniture or using the Dark-Light Device on paintings.
