Template:Species-infobox Pharaoh Guys are a type of Shy Guy that first appeared in Yoshi's Woolly World, and are only found in desert courses. They are beige Shy Guys with a blue belt buckle and a pharaoh hat. They act like normal Shy Guys, but if Yoshi eats or stomps on one, they can revive themselves after a short period of time, similar to Dry Bones. Pharaoh Guys can be defeated for good if Yoshi spits fire at them. They also cannot regenerate if they hit lava or spikes.

Unusually, Pharaoh Guys can levitate for short periods of time—however, they do not rise whilst doing so, remaining in the same location.

The Snifaro from Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time is a similar enemy, being a derived species of Snifit (derived from Shy Guys) and sporting an Egyptian theme. It can also levitate, though more efficiently than the Pharaoh Guy. Pharoah Guys also act in a similar way to Mummy Guys, which appear in Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis.
