Yoshi's Wings
Template:Item-infobox Yoshi's Wings,[1][2] also named Wings,[3] is a power-up item from Super Mario World. When Mario or Luigi pick up this rare item while riding Yoshi, the latter turns into Winged Yoshi, and they both enter Coin Heaven. In the original game, Yoshi turns blue upon obtaining the wings and remains so after the Coin Heaven sequence is completed, no matter what colored Yoshi the player picked up the wings with. However, in the Game Boy Advance remake, Yoshi's color does not change when grabbing the wings.
In the Super Mario World animated series cartoon, Yoshi's Wings, though called Magic Wings, appear in the episodes "Ghosts 'R' Us", "Born to Ride" and "The Night Before Cave Christmas", where, like in the game, they can turn Yoshi into Winged Yoshi.

1 - The North American manual for Super Mario World: Super Mario Advance 2 incorrectly suggests that Yoshi's Wings allow for warping. This was fixed in the European manual, which states that they provide the ability to fly.
