End of stage[1] points are items found in Donkey Kong Land. As their name implies, they are the goal for each stage of the game (replacing the Exit sign from Donkey Kong Country), and as such, they must be touched to complete the stage.
When end of stage points are touched, if all K-O-N-G Letters have been collected, the player is offered the chance to save their game. Otherwise, they are returned to the map screen.
