This article is about Rolling Yoshi Hills, a level in New Super Luigi U. For other uses, see Acorn Plains-3.

Rolling Yoshi Hills, or Acorn Plains-3, is the third course of Acorn Plains in New Super Luigi U. It is unlocked by completing Flame-Gear Tower, and its own completion will unlock Piranha Heights and Piranha Gardens.

Layout

The level is mainly composed on rolling platforms, and Monty Moles will blast from walls, trying to attack the player. Yoshis can be found inside a ? Block, and can be used to Luigi's advantage.

Star Coins

  • Star Coin 1: Luigi must kick a Koopa Shell into a hole, where the first Star Coin resides.
  • Star Coin 2: Luigi must stomp on Piranha Plants using Yoshi to get the first Star Coin, or alternatively use a Koopa Shell to get rid of them, and get the Star Coin safely.
  • Star Coin 3: Luigi must run on the rolling hills at the end of the level, then Flutter Jump using Yoshi to get the third Star Coin right before the Goal Pole.

Luigi Sightings

Before the second POW Block, there is a grey spot on one of the rock pillars that resembles a jumping Luigi.
