The five Music Boxes are important items in Wario Land 3, which Wario is tasked by a hidden figure to retrieve in order to free him from the Temple. Each one is guarded by a boss in the music box world, and all except the final one also opens at least one level after being collected. They make up the first five items listed in the treasure collection. After collecting them all and bringing them back to the Temple, they are used to free the hidden figure, who then turns out to be the main villain and final boss.
