- This article is about Flame-Gear Tower, a level in New Super Luigi U. For other uses, see Acorn Plains-Tower.
Flame-Gear Tower, or Acorn Plains-File:Fort Icon.png, is the tower of Acorn Plains, and subsequently, the third course of New Super Luigi U. It is unlocked by completing Crooked Cavern, and its own completion unlocks Rolling Yoshi Hills.
Layout
The level begins under two Burners. A cog is found, along with a ? Block above a Burner. Another cog with a ? Block above it is found, along with more Burners. A Hidden Block containing a 1-Up Mushroom is found above a platform, in between two coins. More cogs with Burners on them must be crosses, and a Dry Bones is found on a platform. A cog with rotating Burners is found, followed by one with four Burners on it. A group of Dry Bones is found, followed by the door leading to Boom Boom. To the right of the door, there is an invisible ? Block with a Fire Flower.
Star Coins
- Star Coin 1: The first Star Coin is near the right side of the first gear. Luigi must avoid the Rocket Engines near it.
- Star Coin 2: The second Star Coin is near four Rocket Engines. The player must be quick to escape them.
- Star Coin 3: The third Star Coin is just below the door leading to the boss, and can be reached by using Hidden Blocks.
