Super Mario Odyssey Capture Shimakuri! Daibōken Sugoroku is a board game released as furoku in the November 2017 issue of the Corocoro Ichiban magazine. The game is themed after Super Mario Odyssey, and uses a variation of the game's capture mechanic.

Details[edit]

The object of the game appears to be to reach Bowser (who is located slightly to the right of the center of the board) and rescue Princess Peach. Like the game on which Super Mario Odyssey Capture Shimakuri! Daibōken Sugoroku is based, the board is divided into segments themed after various kingdoms. The player appears to start in the Cap Kingdom, while Bowser is reached through the Luncheon Kingdom. If one lands on a "Capture space", they are to swap places with the player currently in "first place" (presumably meaning the player that is furthest along the board).
