This article is about Wendy's Shifting Castle, a level in New Super Mario Bros. U. For other uses, see Frosted Glacier-Castle.

Template:Levelbox Wendy's Shifting Castle, or Frosted Glacier-Castle, is the Castle of Frosted Glacier in New Super Mario Bros. U. This level contains swinging girders, Dry Bones, and Thwomps. The boss is Wendy O. Koopa. It can be unlocked by finishing Swaying Ghost House, and competing this level opens the path to The Mighty Cannonship.

Layout

The player will first jump across some swinging girders while avoiding some Dry Bones. Next, the player will pass by some Thwomps and Big Thwomps and reach the checkpoint. The next part will have more of these swinging girders, Dry Bones, Thwomps, Thwimps and a Big Dry Bones. After the check point, the player can find a hidden area filled with coins on the first platform with two Thwimps. After passing some more Super Thwomps, the player will find and enter a blue door which leads to a red cannon. After being launched out of the red cannon into Wendy's airship, the player will proceed to fight Wendy O. Koopa. She uses her candy rings to knock icicles from the ceiling onto the player and, at the same time, skates across the area to avoid the player. After three hits, she is defeated and the path to The Mighty Cannonship is unlocked.

Star Coins

  • Star Coin 1: Behind the last Thwomp in a long line of falling Thwomps immediately before the Checkpoint Flag.
  • Star Coin 2: Between two Thwimps is a Brick Block. Above the Brick Block is an invisible block that can be used as leverage to reach a pipe that leads to the second Star Coin.
  • Star Coin 3: In a section with moving girders, the player must make it to a pipe at the bottom of the course that leads to the final Star Coin. The coin is hidden behind a Super Thwomp.
