He will end up near the Blue Chest.

This treasure does not affect the world in any way.
First, Wario must make his way underground to the right until he reaches a high ledge, breaking damaged blocks on the way. By using a high jump, Wario can reach the door. Here, Wario must go up the ladder and avoid the Silkies until he reaches an area with a barrel and several Applebies. Wario must use the barrel (it respawns if it's gone) to defeat some of them to be able to climb the ladder with less apples thrown at him, and then enter the door. In this room, he must clear the damaged blocks and use a Dash Attack to bring the stove above the thin platforms, and then let the Hammer-bot trigger Bouncy Wario which allows him to reach the Blue Key by jumping off the stove.

After acquiring the key and exiting the room, Fat Wario must be triggered by one of the Applebies' apples, so that the doughnut blocks below the area can be broken by Wario. After that, the Ball o' String Wario must be triggered by one of the Silkies to break the Itodama Block to open access to the left room. In the left room, the damaged blocks are required to be broken to make way for Ball o' String Wario to be able to break the other Itodama Block, which requires going back to the side of the area where the Silkies are found to trigger again, leading to the Blue Chest.

This article is about the level from Wario Land 3. For the world from Super Mario Bros. 3, see Grass Land.
S1, The Grasslands

The Grasslands is the first level on the southern side of the music box world in Wario Land 3. It is unlocked after Wario obtains both the First Gear for Machine in The Pool of Rain's Gray Chest and Second Gear for Machine from A Town in Chaos' Gray Chest, causing an elevator to function and thus allowing him to access this level.

As its name implies, this level is a grassy field. There are also some holes covered with grass that are not visible. Underneath the grassland, there are bodies of water. The area to the right contains some caves, while the tree that Wario started from has doors that lead to the inside of it. There is a boss within this level, which is Wormwould.

Treasures[edit]

Gray Chest: Yellow Music Box[edit]

The first music box

The Yellow Music Box[1], the first of the five music boxes, is in the Gray Chest. It is available as soon as the level is unlocked.

In the cave at the rightmost part of the grassy surface, Wario has to use the Flat Wario form and avoid the Omodonmeka enemies to reach the Gray Key.

Then he has to get out of the cave to go to the entrance at the highest point in between this exit and the door before it. In this entrance, Wormwould is below on a arena. To defeat Wormwould, it is required to use a Smash Attack on its head. Should Wormwould spit out a rock and it hits Wario, he will be rolled out of the arena and the area must be reentered to battle Wormwould again. After Wormwould is defeated, three sprouts grow on the arena that leads to the Gray Chest.

After playing it, the Yellow Music Box closes the two halves of the drawbridge in the southern side of the world, making The Big Bridge accessible.

Red Chest: Truck Wheel[edit]

The carts in The Volcano's Base

The Truck Wheel[2], also known as the Wheels[1] is in the Red Chest. It require the Magic Seeds from The Big Bridge's Gray Chest to access it, where a vine is grown to be able to be climbed on, to where the treasure is.

The Red Key to access the Red Chest is above the staircase-like blocks near the beginning.

The vine to access the cave is below the rightmost ladder and to the right, where there are three Nobiiru on the way up the vine to the entrance. Within this cave, the Red Chest is blocked by a mini-game block. The Golf minigame to open the entrance requires travelling around, first by going up the ladders, then smashing the breakable pillars towards the right, and then using a Smash Attack through the damaged blocks downwards and a Dash Attack to the blocks to the left. To get back from that point, Wario must jump up the platforms on the left, break the damaged blocks on the left, and then climb down the ladders to reach the beginning.

The Truck Wheel causes the carts in The Volcano's Base to be able to run, after they are fitted on the carts.

Green Chest: Magic Wand[edit]

The Magic Wand

The Magic Wand[3] in the Green Chest requires the Flute found in The Stagnant Swamp's Gray Chest, which summons a snakes in several levels to use as a stepping stone, such as this one.

To get to the snake in this level, there are two platforms without grass that leads towards a snake pot to the left. From the snake's head, there is a door in the tree trunk to the left and another door up the ladder. From the upper door, the platforms are required to reach the Green Key. If the Green Key failed to be collected, then exit through the lower door above water and then climb up the ladder to the upper door to attempt again.

To get to the Green Chest, Wario must travel underwater to navigate the path while avoiding bubbles to reach a door at the floor of the tree, which is where the chest is found.

The Magic Wand, along with the Blue Book from The Peaceful Village's Red Chest, freezes the sea found in the eastern side of the world, turning it into The Frigid Sea and making it accessible.

Blue Chest: Fighter Mannequin[edit]

Wario finds the Fighter Mannequin

The Fighter Mannequin in the Blue Chest requires the High Jump Boots from The Colossal Hole's Green Chest. It allows Wario to reach a door that is previously too high for Wario to reach.

The Fighter Mannequin does not affect the world in any way.
