Rocks are throwable objects in DK: King of Swing and DK: Jungle Climber. They are usually found near pegs or Peg Boards, often right next to them. Rocks first appear in the level Necky's Canyon. Donkey Kong or Diddy Kong can pick up and hold a rock with their left or right hand when the player holds L Button or R Button respectively. The Kong can hold a rock while swinging from a peg with the opposite hand. The Kong can throw the rock if the player stops holding one of the shoulder buttons, depending on which hand the Kong holds the rock in.

Rocks can be used to break a barrel or to defeat an enemy, although a rock breaks once it hits something. Rocks are featured in the boss fight against Fire Necky, and they start as fireballs spit by Fire Necky, which shortly crystallize into rocks. The Kong must pick up a rock and throw it at Fire Necky to attack it. In Ice Castle, there are Kremlings that pick up and throw rocks at Donkey Kong.
