Piranha Prowler

Template:Kart-infobox The Piranha Prowler is a large kart that appears in Mario Kart Wii. The character's emblem is on the kart's forehead and seen on both sides of the vehicle. The kart resembles a Piranha Plant, specifically Petey Piranha. The kart can be unlocked by winning the 50cc Special Cup.

This kart does not have a bike counterpart. In fact, no other vehicle has stats that are similar to this kart's stats. Still, it is considered a Speed type vehicle.

Stats

The Piranha Prowler is the heaviest vehicle in the game. That way, the player is less likely to be knocked around by other drivers. It also has good speed and average handling and drift, but its other stats are below average.

• Wario's Piranha Prowler resembles a yellow Piranha Plant seen in the minigame Piranha Panic in Mario Super Sluggers. Donkey Kong's Piranha Prowler features a color scheme that resembles Fiery Dino Piranha from Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Galaxy 2. On a similar manner, Funky Kong's color scheme's version of this vehicle features Petey Piranha's color scheme, Petey being the basis of the Piranha Prowler. Rosalina's Piranha Prowler features a color scheme that resembles Icy Dino Piranha from Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Galaxy 2. Dry Bowser's color scheme is similar to that of the Bone Piranha Plant from New Super Mario Bros. 2, although that game was released after Mario Kart Wii. Also, the female Mii's Piranha Prowler features Dino Piranha's and Peewee Piranha's color scheme from Super Mario Galaxy, and Super Mario Galaxy 2, respectively.
• Dry Bowser, DK, and Male Mii are the only characters in the game not to have white dots on their Piranha Prowler.
