Sterling Entertainment Group was an American independent entertainment company founded in 1984. Starting in 2003, Sterling released various home media releases for shows released by DIC Entertainment, including The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! and The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3.
In 2006, the private equity firm who owned Sterling lost control of the company, and eventually sold off its assets; the home media rights to DIC's shows were given to NCircle Entertainment the following year.

- The Sonic Underground: Dr. Robotnik's Revenge DVD release by Sterling contains the episode "Do You Princess Toadstool Take this Koopa...?" from The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!; it was removed from the re-release by NCircle Entertainment.
- The opening and closing sequences from Mario All Stars are used in this release of the episode, thus making it the only home media release of said series.
