Three small, raised parts of the ship can be found ahead of here. At the highest point of the ship here, the heroes can find a small ledge that they must drop down to find an area with more barrels stacked on each other. A [[Banana Coin]] floats near them. Pirate Panic is the first level in Donkey Kong Land 2 and of the first world, Gangplank Galleon. It is a straightforward, simple level taking place on a ship deck, and it features a few basic enemies, including Neeks, Klomps, and Klobbers. There are a few pits that Diddy and Dixie can jump over, and some even have an Extra Life Balloon floating out of it.

Bonus Level[edit]
Pirate Panic has only one Bonus Level, of the following type:
- Find the Token!: The Bonus Barrel is to the right of two stacked barrel platforms after the letter K. Dixie must jump at a Banana Coin and use her Helicopter Spin to glide across into the Bonus Barrel. In the Bonus Level, the Kongs have 20 seconds to collect the Kremkoin. They must jump from large barrel platforms in an empty ship area to reach the Kremkoin, which is hovering over the rightmost stack of barrel platforms.
Warp Barrel[edit]
After the second Neek, Dixie must jump from the edge of a raised platform and use her Helicopter Spin to move in the direction of a trail of bananas in midair. An invisible Warp Barrel is just ahead of the trail of bananas. In the warp room, there are a few bananas and a Banana Bunch in a small area between two walls of a ship. The Kongs can exit by taking the opening on the right. By doing so, they return to the last crate in the level, which is just before the End of Level Target.
