He aids Yoshi and Baby Mario by giving them Flutter Wings, Golden Flutter Wings, and Eggs if they lose a specific level. During boss fights, he assists them by throwing Eggs or Coins if Yoshi has the maximum amount of Eggs, and he jumps away. At the end of the game, he is revealed to be none other than adult Mario disguised as a Warp Pipe.
