K. Kruizer III Artillery
Donkey Kong launches himself toward a Question Barrel in K. Kruizer III Artillery.

Question Barrels[1] are wooden barrels in DK: King of Swing and DK: Jungle Climber with a white question mark painted on their front. Question Barrels can be destroyed from a charge attack, and they are most commonly required to progress through a level, since they release either a Peg Board or open a door. Many Question Barrels appear in K. Kruizer III Engine, where breaking one usually reveals another, up until the last one reveals a Peg Board.

Profiles[edit]

  • DK: King of Swing instruction booklet: If you smash one of these open with an attack, peg boards will appear, doors will open, and other changes will occur.[1]
