"Title Theme"[1] is a musical theme composed by Ryo Nagamatsu for Wii Sports Resort, where it plays in the game's title screen. Its melody is loosely based on and quotes from "Title Theme" from Wii Sports. In Wii Sports Resort, the theme is used as a motif throughout several music tracks; in the Super Mario franchise, the theme likewise appears alongside Wuhu Island.
History[edit]
Mario Kart 7[edit]
In Mario Kart 7, an arrangement of "Title Theme" plays in both Wuhu Loop and Maka Wuhu. As with other themes used in multiple courses, it appears as two tracks in the Nintendo Music app: "Wuhu Loop" and "Maka Wuhu". Despite both courses having different British English names in the game (Wuhu Island Loop and Wuhu Mountain Loop, respectively), the tracks retain their American English names in Nintendo Music. A looping drum set beat is added to the instrumentation whenever the player is driving at top speed while in first place.
