Template:Species-infobox Mole Guards are mole enemies that appear in Donkey Kong Country Returns and its Nintendo 3DS remake, Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D. They are Mole Miners armed with bombs, and they only appear in the Cave levels.
Mole Guards' first and most prominent appearance is in Bombs Away, where one rides on a separate track and attacks by throwing bombs into the Kongs' track (rather than at the Kongs directly), thus destroying parts of it. The Mole Guard eventually tries to hurl a giant bomb at the track in the foreground, but crashes into a wall before it can do so.
In Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D, they also appear in the Cloud level Mischievous Moles. They appear in the background throwing bombs at the player.
