- “This forest seems to be home to many different creatures. Use my magnifying glass to take a closer look at anything that catches your eye!”
- —Mr. E
Wildwoods is the first chapter in Yoshi and the Mysterious Book. Unlocked by default, it takes place in a forest. Unlike other chapters of the game which all have six levels, Wildwoods has five levels. Completing the Wildwoods unlocks the Contents page which grants access to the next five chapters of the main story (should the player have the required amount of ★ to unlock each chapter).
Chapter page[edit]
The chapter page for Wildwoods features a large forest. On the left side of the page lies a flower meadow with a yellow Crazee Dayzee walking in it. A large, green beanstalk is found in the back with a Bunchabee hive on a Bunchabee tree next to it. A pond of honey lies nearby. On the other side of the forest lies a large, tree log with an apple tree and a normal tree next to it. A water pond is found in the middle of the forest with a Glubbit sleeping underground near it.
After completing the Crazee Dayzee Habitat, the Bunchabee hive starts shaking. A purple Crazee Dayzee now appears in the flower meadow while a Croakaoke can be seen hiding behind tree leaves.
After completing the Bunchabee Habitat, the Bunchabees move to poke at the leaves of a tree on the other side, making an orange Croakaoke and some Scatterpuffs fall down to the ground. The Bunchabee swarm starts flying around with a Smiley Flower behind it.
After completing the Croakaoke Habitat, several Croakaokes including a large one fall near and on top of the tree log. The purple Crazee Dayzee walks over to play Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star on the newly spawned Croakaoke choir, making the sleeping Glubbit rise up from its sleep and jump out to the nearby pond.
