The Crazee Dayzee Habitat is the first level of Chapter 1: Wildwoods in Yoshi and the Mysterious Book. As with previous first levels in the Yoshi franchise, it serves as the game's opening habitat, introducing the core mechanics navigated by Mr. E and Yoshi's main abilities, including a new move, the Tail Flick, which lets Yoshi grab creatures and carry them on his back.

The habitat is a lush, flower-filled field and home to the Crazee Dayzees, whose abilities cause nearby flowers to bloom. Crazee Dayzee trees at various stages of growth also appear in the background of their natural habitat. To complete the habitat, Yoshi must carry a Crazee Dayzee to make various flowers bloom, including the three large seed buds which bloom into big flowers. The habitat also introduces Hufungous, a small creature that initially appears as a background element, but in its dedicated magnified habitat later on in the Miniworld, serves as a platform which rises when Yoshi stands on it.

"Makes flowers bloom!" 		★ With a Crazee Dayzee on Yoshi's back, touch any bush with flower buds on them.

"Causes blooming when tossed." 		★ Toss a Crazee Dayzee towards any bush with flower buds.

"Made a flower arch." 		★ Locate the arched bush with two Crazee Dayzees beneath it. With a Crazee Dayzee on Yoshi's back, touch every bush in the arch to make all the buds bloom.

"Flower crowns for friends." 		★ Place a Crazee Dayzee by grass with blooming buds, then crouch to receive its flower crown.

"Gets muddy easily." 		★ With a Crazee Dayzee on Yoshi's back, step into the mud puddle beneath the second Smiley Flower of the habitat.

"Grows to become a biiig tree!" 		★ Ground Pound the ! Switch to summon a cloud that rains on a Crazee Dayzee in the background, making it rapidly grow into a big tree.

"Crazee Dayzee tree in full bloom!" 		★★ Carry the Crazee Dayzee and jump on the branches of the newly sprouted big tree to make them bloom.

"Matched the apple's color!" 		★ Feed an Apple to a Crazee Dayzee to change it to the apple's color. When it touches Flower Buds, it will make the flowers that same color.

"Quick splash, squeaky clean!" 		★ Take a Crazee Dayzee to the underground puddle and cover it in mud. Then wash the mud off in the pool near the end of the stage.

"Grew a fresh patch of grass!" 		★ Ground Pound a Crazee Dayzee into water, such as in a puddle.

"Made the whole area bloom." 		★★ Beyond the large Crazee Dayzee tree is an ordinary tree surrounded by several patches of grass. Ensure that every bud blooms with a Crazee Dayzee.
