Goopsie

A Goopsie is a creature in the Underground Chapter of Yoshi and the Mysterious Book. It is a sticky, honey-like creature with wavy arms and purple legs sticking out. Yoshi can carry the Goopsie and it will stick to walls and creatures, like Butterflies, Ouchins, Fish, and Flooflys. The Goopsie dissolves in water, making the water honey-colored and tasting good to Yoshi. Once a Goopsie is dissolved, another one will respawn at the same area. Skillfully using the Goopsie, the player can climb entire walls and ceilings. If the player places the Goopsie on the ceiling of the level, it will slowly lose grip and fall down. The player will get the three star discovery to end the level once they stick many types of creatures to the Goopsie.
Naming[edit]
"Goopsie" is a name referring to the creature's honey-like goop on its body.
When the name is suggested by Mr. E, he says the following:
- “It loves to stick to everything with its gooey, honey-like body...so how about Goopsie?”
