The '''Pin''' (also known as the '''Flag''') is a feature found in the [[Mario Golf (series)|''Mario Golf'' series]]. The Pin is a sort of marker as to where the [[Hole]] is. Without the Pin, it would be very hard for the player to judge where the Hole is to make a good shot. On the Pin is the flag. The Flag is an extension of the Pin so the location of the Hole stands out a little more. Whenever the ball hits the pin, that would be called a "Pin Shot". Balls usually bounce back when they hit the pin. For this reason, the pin is removed upon approaching the [[Green]] to prevent this from happening.

The Pin, also known as the Flagpole, is a feature found in the Mario Golf series. The Pin marks the location of the Hole, and the Flag is used to make it stand out a little more. Whenever the ball hits the pin, that would be called a "Pin Shot", usually making balls bounce back. The Pin is removed when players make shots from the Green, so that the ball can go in much easier.
