Leyden's Piscine PR Plans is a side quest in Mario & Luigi: Brothership. In this quest, Mario and Luigi must help Leyden pioneer a new product on Bulbfish Island by bringing him an Offin and Egoby.

Leyden's Piscine PR Plans becomes available after linking Offandon Island, and expires after the second visit to Fortress Zokket. Clearing the side quest awards three Ultra Mushrooms and a Max Syrup Jar.

Side quest[edit]

To start the side quest, the Bros. must speak with Leyden on Bulbfish Island. He wants to launch Project Prominent Product (with a subtitle of Pop's Power Perfected) to make the island more popular, adding more fish species in addition to the Bulbfish. Leyden then asks the brothers to find an Offin and Egoby for research purposes.

After Mario and Luigi bring Leyden the required fish, he expresses his excitement for the plan working, as well as giving many praises to himself. The side quest is then complete.

In-game description[edit]

  • "Apparently Leyden was worried about the image of the island. Can you help his project succeed?"
  • "Destination: Bulbfish Island
    Hand over the Offin and Egoby.    "

Gossips' dialogue[edit]

The following quotes are from the gossips if they are spoken to while the side quest is available.

  • Yellow gossip: "I LOVE A GOOD COUPON!"
  • Pink gossip: "I DO TOO!"
  • Yellow gossip: "But no. It's not that. I have a hot scoop on old Leyden. You know, from Bulbfish Island?"
  • Pink gossip: "Ohhh, Leyden... Say, did you know his son is kind of handsome?"
  • Blue gossip: "Yes! I've thought the same thing!"
  • Pink gossip: "Sorry. I got us offtrack, didn't I?"
  • Yellow gossip: "Slightly... But yes, old Leyden is worried about something!"
  • Blue gossip: "Well, he is a notorious snacker. I bet he's in search of fab snacks!"
  • Yellow gossip: "Oh, honey! If that man's looking for anything fab, he should talk to us!"
  • All three: "Ohohohoho! So true!"

If the player speaks to them again, the above conversation is skipped and only one line of dialogue is said.

  • "Someone really should go find out what Leyden is worried about."
