Glohm Spike Zok Troopers are enemies in Mario & Luigi: Brothership. They are Spike Zok Troopers that have been infected with Glohm, and can be found in the Great Lighthouses, the second visit to Fortress Zokket, the Glohm Bowser battle, and in the Soli-Tree during the first phase of the final battle against Reclusa. Appearance wise, they resemble their regular counterparts, except with shadowy Glohm effects and glowing red eyes.

Battle[edit]

In battle, Glohm Spike Zok Troopers attack the same way as their regular counterparts. However, they have higher stats, attack faster and have the ability to inflict the Glohm status on a bro with their attacks. Their Glohm infection also prevents them from launching combo attacks with their fellow Zok Troopers.

During Glohm Bowser's boss fight, Glohm Spike Zok Troopers spawn when "clean" Spike Zok Troopers touch the Glohm puddle the boss creates on his side of the arena. As the Spike Zok Troopers succumb to the infection, they get an increase in the Defense and Speed stats, but lose health and Power.
