The Blue Rafflesia is a key item in Mario & Luigi: Brothership. It is a rare Rafflesia flower that only grows on Raynforst Island.

While seeking a floral crown for Burnadette and Chilliam's wedding, Mario and Luigi can return to Raynforst Island if they follow the plan given to them by a poorly-disguised Shun. Upon reaching the island's flower garden, they find that Shun has trampled all the Whirliblooms needed for the crown, to the dismay of two Concordian gardeners. Shun then flees via Snaptor, but not before sending three Spike Zok Troopers after the Bros. Once the Spike Zok Troopers are defeated, the gardeners thank Mario and Luigi, informing them of the Blue Rafflesia and that it can be used for the flower crown. The Blue Rafflesia is found on an elevated plateau on the western side of the island; it can be reached by using the Ball Blitz move to dash up several ramps and crossing several Bouncy Blooms and Puzzle Panels. They must also fight three Piranha Plants near the Rafflesia after one of them nearly eats Snoutlet. Once they obtain the Blue Rafflesia, the Bros. immediately give it to the gardener to make the flower crown.
