Description | |
"Component found in Bowser's Castle. Can be used to upgrade Shipshape Island." | |
First appearance | Mario & Luigi: Brothership (2024) |
The Part of Bowser's Airship is a key item in Mario & Luigi: Brothership, and is an engine belonging to one of Bowser's Airships. It is first seen in the Bowser's Castle Warehouse, in the same room as the Pile of Ampberries, though Mario and Luigi are prevented access to it on their first visit by a wall of crates and used engine parts.
Once Mario chooses to go with either Adaphne or Technikki's plans, they will require an engine to help Shipshape Island cross over or under Fortress Zokket's barrier. They then remember about the Airships, and the Bros. decide to return to Bowser's Castle to find an engine in the warehouse. Returning to Shipshape after finding it, Adaphne or Technikki remodels the Airship part and embed it into the back of the island, renaming it either the Adaphne Engine or the Technikki Engine, respectively. The new engine now allows Shipshape Island to reach the Fortress, and to fast-travel to any current on the Ocean Map.
