The Paranormal Portal is a purple portal that appears on the Terrace in the Treacherous Mansion in the missions E-5: Paranormal Chaos and E-Boss: Stop the Knightmare. When created by King Boo, this portal releases multiple Strong Greenies, Strong Slammers, Strong Sneakers, Strong Gobbers, and Strong Hiders into the mansion. Luigi must capture all of these ghosts as quickly as possible to prevent the dimension from collapsing upon itself. The portal leads to King Boo's Illusion, where Luigi battles the Tough Possessor, as well as King Boo. After Luigi has defeated King Boo, the Paranormal Portal disappears.
