The Pile of Ampberries is a key item in Mario & Luigi: Brothership. It is a stash of Ampberries that Bowser stores in his castle.

When Mario and Luigi return from relinking Twistee Island and Heatfreeze Island, they require Ampberries to give to the people of Twistee Island. However, Dr. Vulko's collection of Ampberries has run low, and he tasks the Bros. with finding more. He mentions the only place where Ampberries grow is on Wayaway Island, with IDLE later mentioning that Bowser has made his base there. After the Bros. learn the way to Wayaway Island, they navigate through Bowser's Castle and eventually defeat him. However, the Extension Corps jump in to kidnap Bowser Jr. and take him hostage, then inflict Glohm on Buddy before they flee. The Mario Bros. talk to Kamek, asking for Ampberries to heal Buddy, but Kamek mentions they do not sound real. He reveals an Ampberry and gives it to Buddy, curing him. Two Goombas then rush in, but one of them accidentally reveals the Pile of Ampberries is in the storage room to the right of the room where Bowser was fought, allowing the Bros. to find the pile and take it back to Dr. Vulko. This enables them to access the final Great Lighthouse Island.
