Three boys are stranded in the desert next to a road playing on their Game Boys as a song plays in the background. One is playing Super Mario Land, and the other two had link cables that allowed them to play Baseball in multiplayer. The boys end up getting so distracted, that they miss a truck that drove past them. Two of the boys then chase after the truck. The commercial ends with Alleyway and Yakuman being advertised alongside the two aforementioned games.

Among three of the suspects, one is a gorilla, who growls at the victim, who turns into dust upon seeing it. A hammer then falls over with text on it reading "The beast is back." A comet flies towards Earth and enters the home of a boy playing on his Game Boy. The comet destroys parts of the house, only for it to be revealed to be a Super Game Boy. The system grabs the cartridge out of the boy's Game Boy, puts it inside of itself, and lands in the SNES. A voice then says the system works for all 350 Game Boy games, including Donkey Kong, as the cartridge is stuck on the boy's forehead. While playing, electricity from the wire connecting the SNES to the controller electrocutes the boy, coming out of his ears and writes "Super Game Boy" on the wall.

Over a city, a metal Mario statue flies from a Game Boy to a Super Famicom, creating a rainbow bridge between the two systems. In the middle of the bridge, a Super Game Boy is formed. The cartridge for Donkey Kong is placed inside the Super Game Boy, which is then placed in the Super Famicom, and Mario begins playing the game. Donkey Kong, Yoshi, Mario, Wario, Bowser, Princess Peach, Luigi, Toad, Kirby, King Dedede, a Koopa Troopa, a Lakitu, a Cheep Cheep, a Goomba, a Boo, a Piranha Plant, and more characters cross the bridge and enter the Super Famicom.

Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong find a yellow Game Boy Color playing Donkey Kong Country in a jungle. Diddy Kong sits on the Game Boy, but jumps off before it could fall over, revealing a Krusha behind it. The Krusha scares Diddy Kong, causing him to run into the camera and get knocked out. A Klump then appears and fights the Krusha for the Game Boy. A coconut is thrown from a distance which hits the Krusha. The thrower is revealed to be Diddy Kong swinging from a vine. Krusha goes after Diddy as Donkey Kong rides on Rambi in the distance. They approach the Klump and the Game Boy, where Donkey Kong hops off Rambi so that it attacks the Klump. Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong are then reunited and Donkey Kong carries the Game Boy Color. The scene is then warped off screen as the game's logo appears. Gameplay footage is then shown with the "C" in "Game Boy Color", resembling a pair of lips, tells the viewer to "Get into it."

Donkey Kong orders bananas and a drink with a banana label on it, but pauses to find out he obtained rare cards of Kiddy Kong for the Donkey Kong Card Game. Everyone surrounding Donkey Kong and cheering as tears fall from his eyes. The commercial ends with the Donkey Kong Card Game being advertised.

The commercial ends with another car driving to the speaker and the worker yells at whoever drove there.

At the scene with Mario in a pyramid, the voice says "challenge the mysteries and terrors of ancient Egypt", but the player never visits Egypt in the game. Egypt was likely mistaken for the Birabuto Kingdom.
