At the beginning of the level, Donkey Kong is forced on Hoofer the Wildebeest, and the two ride through ice to progress and collect bananas. Near here is a platform with a few icicles hanging under it. If the two characters choose to go under the platform, Donkey Kong gains a few beats. However, if he uses the platforms to lift him up to a higher platform, he can run into many more beats. The is a small fork in the road farther on, and the ape can either ride on the long platforms ahead, or simply head under them. Taking the top route leads him to more bananas, while the bottom takes him to a few less bananas and a small enemy blocking the path. After passing through three [[Banana|Banana Bunch]]es, Donkey Kong, still riding Hoofer, travels down a steep hill. While heading down however, the two animals are chased by a giant snowball. Collecting [[Bloom]]s all the way down the hill, the snowball soon stops, and the group travels up a steep hill. There is a tunnel nearby that they enter on this hill. Inside, there are some [[Yukimogura]]s sticking through the bottom and top of the tunnel. They must be dodged for the ape and his Jungle Buddy to progress.

After crashing into more bananas trapped in ice, Hoofer and Donkey Kong come up to even larger enemies sticking out of the sides of the area. There are some bananas around this area as well, although they are all still encased in ice. Eventually, Donkey Kong and Hoofer meet the exit of the tunnel and head down another large hill. At the bottom of the hill is another giant snowball, which Donkey Kong can destroy if the player claps his/her hands. At this point, Iguanagon begins to chase the group. After treading up and down hills and crashing through bananas encased in ice, the animals make it into a tunnel, which Iguanagon is too large to enter. Inside the tunnel, there are a few bananas to collect, some being encased in icicles. Once Donkey Kong exits this tunnel, he and his Jungle Buddy come up to the large orange. Touching makes the level end, however, right after, Donkey Kong plays a bonus on Hoofer, where he must jump off a ramp to receive more beats. The amount gained will be equal to the distance jumped.

'''Sky Garden''' is the second area of the Orange Kingdom. The level takes place on a high altitude with clouds and beanstalks. Donkey Kong utilizes the unique plants growing in the sky to propel himself to higher areas. Donkey Kong also encounters a chicken-plant hybrid, who can be defeated by [[clap]]ping. In the second half of the level, Donkey Kong is aided by the [[Helper Monkey]]s to reach higher areas and, overall, progress through the level. After eating the giant orange at the end of the level, the ape sets off to fight the boss, Scruff Roc.

This level starts out with a pathway leading down to a group of three bananas. Nearby, there is a large flower, and if Donkey Kong jumps in this, he can shoot himself to the platforms to the right. There is a [[Banande Lion]] placed on this platform for him to swing on as well. Once he grabs onto the flower, he must fling himself to the vine located to the left. Swinging on this helps him reach the platforms found farther to the left, which has another Banande Lion on it. After grabbing that flower, he should fling himself to the flower on the next platform. Once he lands in it, the plant aims him to another vine. Near this vine is a group of Banana Bunches, which Donkey Kong should clap-grab to earn extra beats. Eventually, he should swing his way over the bananas to reach the buddy, [[Flurl the Squirrel]], who helps him float downwards. As the two float down, they can find several bananas and Banana Bunches.
 
When Donkey Kong reaches the ground, causing him to lose his Jungle Buddy, he meets a large, chicken-like enemy blocking his path. If he manages to defeat this creature with his abilities, he can make his way to the nearby Helper Monkey, who waits for him in a bush. This monkey throws him to a second monkey, who must them throw him into the flower to the right. Donkey Kong can shoot himself out of this plant to fly toward another Helper Monkey, who helps him reach the next platform. When the ape lands on this platform, he finds a few small hog enemies in his path. To the right of them is another flower, which Donkey Kong can use to shoot himself to a Helper Monkey. When Donkey Kong approaches this monkey, the player can make the creature throw the Kong to the giant orange nearby. Once Donkey Kong bites into this fruit, the level ends.

The Orange Kingdom is the second kingdom linked to the D Barrel which appears in Donkey Kong Jungle Beat. The Orange Kingdom can be accessed by collecting one Crest. Donkey Kong travels through this kingdom to fight Scruff Roc, the foe who rules the kingdom. At the end of each level in this area, Donkey Kong must bite into a giant orange to complete the stage.
