Sleep Pig Poppo
|Sleep Pig Poppo|
A Sleep Pig Poppo as they appear in Donkey Kong Jungle Beat
|First appearance||Donkey Kong Jungle Beat (2004)|
|Latest appearance||New Play Control! Donkey Kong Jungle Beat (2008)|
|Variant of||Gale Hawg|
They are generally harmless, since they only sleep. Running into or jumping onto one results in Donkey Kong being bounced back. A Sleep Pig Poppo can be attacked by using the Sound Wave Attack, causing it to flip over, dazed. It can then be punched until defeated (generally fifteen punches), causing it to "explode". They leave behind five beats.
In the original game, they have thin, straight tusks, but are redesigned in New Play Control! Donkey Kong Jungle Beat to have thicker, curved tusks, which are also given to Gale Hawgs and Fire Pig Poppos.
