Clap is a move Donkey Kong can perform in Donkey Kong Jungle Beat. If there is an item nearby (ex. Banana) and Donkey Kong claps, he will reach for the item and grab it. An enemy might be defeated from Donkey Kong clapping. Clapping has many other uses in the game—for example, avoiding attacks during a boss battle. Several clap moves appear as Donkey Kong's smash attacks, most notably his forward smash and up smash, in the Super Smash Bros. series.
