Stage 4-5 is the fifth level in the Jungle in the Game Boy version of Donkey Kong. The level features many vines and introduces Dorakyū. Although they do not actually harm Mario, they stun him, and may cause him to lose a life if he falls a certain distance.
Layout[edit]
To begin, Mario starts off in the bottom right with the Key Door right in front of him. However, the key is actually located all the way up in the top left corner, requiring Mario to use several vines and evade a few enemies to reach it. All three of Pauline's items may be found along the way. There is a 1 UP Heart in the top right corner. There are also two nuts hung at the top, which Mario may release to defeat enemies they hit on the way down, usually both Kānyī, though one or two Dorakyū may also be defeated with good timing. Once Mario has the key, he may simply take it down with him, subsequently using it to unlock the Key Door to complete the level.
