Gold Hammer Bros are golden variants of Hammer Bros that appeared in New Super Mario Bros. 2. Their entire body consists of pure gold.
History
New Super Mario Bros. 2
Hammer Bros will become Gold Hammer Bros when the player touches a Gold Ring, however unlike regular Hammer Bros instead of throwing hammers they will throw coins instead, they will only hurt the player if he makes contact with it multiple of the Hammer Bros sub-variants can be turned gold and they will act the same way.
