Mario starts next to a ladder leading to the door which he must climb up to advance then he must jump up over some blocks on the right next to the door, then he must keep heading right where he will see a Sir Shovalot which will crush him against the wall so he must jump over the little knight and to get up to the lever he must he either Backflip, Handstand Jump, or jump on the little knight's head then jump off at the right spot. Then he must go over to the lever then switch it to activate the bridge so another Sir Shovalot will walk over there then once the little knight is on the bridge Mario must switch the lever back so the Sir Shovalot falls to the platform below it then he must go back while avoiding the first little knight and take either the ladder on the right or the ladder on the left. Once the little knight below him is on the left side, Mario is down there and the Sir Shovalot is ready to charge Mario must crouch so he doesn't get crushed and him must watch out for the Spikes on the ceiling above him and the little knight in the middle. Once the Sir Shovalot shoves Mario off the platform into the water he must watch out for two Gessori which will hurt him if they touch him so Mario should quickly jump out to the platform with a lever on the right before a Gessori touches him, then he must go over to the lever and switch it so the gate blocking the key opens then Mario must activate the ladder block then put it on the left edge of the platform he's on as there's no room on the right side then climb up it, the first Sir Shovalot might be in the way so it's best to run into the open then jump over it if Mario is on the left or quickly climb up the ladder or jump over it if Mario is on the right. Once at the key Mario must grab it then take it to the left jumping over the block to get across then all Mario has to do is bring the key to the door to end the level.

Stage 3-7 is the seventh level of the Ship in the Game Boy version of Donkey Kong. The level has a puzzle theme, and revolves around the use of two different levers with different functions.

Layout[edit]

To begin, Mario starts off in the bottom left corner, next to a ladder just below the Key Door. Two Gessori swim in the liquid below, while two Sir Shovalots move about the area. Although Mario is able to climb the ladder and make it to the top right of the room, there is a wall blocking off the key. However, there is still a lever Mario must use to lure the lower Sir Shovalot onto a temporary platform. Mario must then release the lever to make the platform disappear and drop the Sir Shovalot onto the lowest floor. Mario must then head to the Sir Shovalot and have him push him through a narrow squeeze, crouching so as to avoid the spikes. Upon jumping over the hole to avoid falling into the water, Mario must then use a different switch to create a ladder allowing him to reach the key, as well as raising the wall. Mario may then simply pick up the key and carry it all the way to the left, unlocking the Key Door to complete the level.
