Aqua World is a water area and the third world of DK: King of Swing. It is found after the player completes Wild West World. If Donkey Kong or Diddy Kong completes the first four levels in this world, they can head to Davy Bones' Locker, the boss level.

Although the world's name hints that it features underwater levels, it also contains a cave-like level and a level that is set in a haunted ship. Additionally, there is a level, Lockjaw Falls, that takes place on a waterfall. A few objects make their first appearance in this world, such as falling pegs, wheels that can spin the Kong quickly and throw him high in the air (if he holds onto them with the correct hand), cannons that shoot out pegs, and pegs that only appear when the Kong is holding onto a peg around them. Many objects also reappear in the Aqua World, such as barrels, Barrel Cannons, rocks that can be thrown, crates, tires, moving peg boards, and mines. Enemies also appear commonly here, and they include Kritters, Flipflaps, and Zingers. Shuris, Lockjaws, and ghost enemies that disappear when the Kong grabs two pegs with both hands also make their debut here.

Aqua World in DK: King of Swing
Game DK: King of Swing
Level(s) 5
<< List of worlds >>

Aqua World is the water-themed and third world of DK: King of Swing. It is accessible after Wild West World is completed, and is followed by Ice World. The Aqua World has a variety of landmarks, a fraction of which are water-themed. The first level and the boss fight take place underwater, while the second level is set by a waterfall with Lockjaws that jump out at anyone. The northeastern part of Aqua World has a derelict, haunted galleon. The Kremlings also have a base on a small island. A few objects first appear in this world, such as falling pegs, Spinning Pegs, cannons that fire out pegs, and pegs that only appear when the Kong holds onto another one around them. Aqua World features both land and underwater enemies. The land enemies include Kritters, Flipflaps, ghosts, and Zingers, while the underwater ones include Shuris and Lockjaws.

The Beach world from Donkey Kong Country Returns is thematically similar and has been suggested to be the same location.[1]

Levels[edit]

Aqua World has four regular levels, and each one has their own medal. The first two levels have a bronze one, the next two have a silver one, and the boss battle has a gold medal, just like the other worlds. A Crystal Coconut is hidden in every level except for the boss fight.
