World 8-4 (New Super Mario Bros. Wii)

Template:Levelbox World 8-4 is the fourth level of World 8 in New Super Mario Bros. Wii. The level is mostly underwater and is the first and only level in the game to include Jellybeams and Bulbers.

Layout

After falling down a deep tunnel, Mario and Co. will have to deal with several Stone Spikes. There are Bulbers in the water, which help the player see. The second part of the level is infested with Jellybeams. They are the only light source in this section of the level. For the final part, the player will have to swim upwards through some pipes that make strong water currents. After entering a pipe the exit will be close.

Star Coins

  • Star Coin 1: In the first area, Mario must find an opening to access the Stone Spikes' area. The Star Coin can be found to the left.
  • Star Coin 2: In the second area, there is a ? switch near some blocks containing Bloopers and the Star Coin. Hitting the switch will remove the blocks.
  • Star Coin 3: Near the end of third area, the Star Coin is in plain sight underneath a pipe creating water currents.

  • This is the first level in World 8 to not contain lava, the second being World 8-Airship
