WarioWare: Move It! is the upcoming tenth installment in the WarioWare series, and the second game from the series for Nintendo Switch, following WarioWare: Get It Together!. It was first announced during the June 2023 Nintendo Direct, and is set to be released worldwide on November 3, 2023. The game returns to the traditional gameplay style of the series after Get It Together!'s departure, and utilizes the Switch's Joy-Con motion sensor as its main mechanic.[3] As indicated by its Japanese title, WarioWare: Move It! is a successor to WarioWare: Smooth Moves, which showcased the Wii's motion controls in a similar manner.[2] It is also the first game to feature the replacement voice actor for Charles Martinet in the role of Wario.[6]
Overview
WarioWare: Move It! is, like other installments in the WarioWare series, a party game consisting of various microgames with distinct art-styles. Being a successor to WarioWare: Smooth Moves, its gameplay utilizes motion controls, with the Joy-Con as controllers.
In the game, the story mode can be played either single- or multiplayer. Its level selection screen is reminiscent of WarioWare: Smooth Moves and WarioWare: Get It Together!; each level is represented by one to three character heads, while the remix stages are represented by jeepneys that hold select characters. The party mode of the game features five multiplayer modes (two returning from WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Party Game$!) which can be played with up to four players, who each choose a crew member to play as.
Unlike previous installments in the series, which primarily take place in Diamond City, the game takes place on a new tropical location, named Barrio Morro Island.[7] As such, the characters of the game wear tropical outfits. The cutscenes of the game make use of full-motion video animation with full voice-acting, like WarioWare Gold. In 2-player, if one fails, but the other wins the microgame, no life will be lost.
Plot
The game begins with a video promoting an island. Wario, driving his bike in Diamond City, overhears the ad and starts to draw various tickets until getting the winning ticket. He calls his employees and they all set off to the island via a cruise ship, wearing vacation gear. When the employees finally arrive at the island, they are welcomed by a tourist.

- Buttograph: A microgame where the player must draw an autograph with their rear end. (Uses Squat)
- Cowboy Up: A microgame where a cowboy must wrangle an animal with a lasso. (Uses Fashionista)
- Feeling Peckish: A microgame involving a bird using its beak to eat a worm. (Uses Ba-KAW)
- Locomotion: A microgame where Wario as a tank engine has to stop over the red tracks without crashing into the blockade ahead. (Uses Choo Choo)
- Pure Waddle: A microgame where the player as a penguin must waddle in line with the other penguins.
- Shell Shine: A microgame where a turtle man has to wipe his shell. (Uses Fashionista)
- Sumo Says: A microgame where the player as a sumo wrestler must copy the moves of the other wrestlers. (Uses Squat)
- Super Mario Bros. 3: A microgame based on Super Mario Bros. 3 where Raccoon Mario must fly across a bottomless pit. (Uses Ba-KAW)
- Take the Plunger: A microgame where the player must use a plunger to unclog a toilet.
- Thigh Fishing: A microgame where the player must catch a fish in between their legs. (Uses Squat)
- When Our Eyes Meet: A microgame where the player must maintain eye contact with their crush.
- A microgame where Wario must break out of jail by bending prison bars. (Uses Choo Choo)
- A microgame where a man must fell a bamboo with an axe.
- A microgame similar to Shake!
- A microgame where a boy eats a sushi roll.
- A microgame where a diver must sway like seaweed to avoid being noticed by a shark.

- Hand Model – The player holds the right Joy-Con with their left hand and points the IR Camera to their free right hand.
- Fashionista – The player holds their dominant-hand Joy-Con next to their head and their non-dominant-hand Joy-Con onto their hip.
- Squat – The player squats down and holds both Joy-Con onto their thighs.
- ナルホド – The player holds both Joy-Con upright, with one Joy-Con above the other, similar to The Janitor.
- キヲツケ – The player stands with their hands at their sides.
- オオイバリ – The player holds both Joy-Con onto their hips, similar to The Big Cheese.
- アーチャー – The player holds both Joy-Con upright, with one hand outstretched in front of them and the other close to their chest.
- ノビアガリ – The player holds both Joy-Con above themselves.
- リョウテノリ – The player places both Joy-Con onto their palms, similar to The Waiter.

- A two-player stage hosted by Kat & Ana where one player plays microgames while the other tries to keep the screen open.
- A two-player battle stage hosted by Young Cricket and Master Mantis resembling Battle Time from Gold and Duelius Maximus from Get It Together!
- A stage represented by two flamingos.
Party Mode
Known modes within Party Mode include:[8][9][11]
- Galactic Conquest: A board game party mode.
- Medusa March: A mode where players must reach the goal without being caught by Medusa.
- A boxing survival mode similar to Survival Fever.
- A mode similar to Listen to the Doctor!
- A 2v2 mode where two players on the same team play a microgame. One player plays like normal; the other pretends to play. The other team must guess which player was actually playing the microgame.
