Using files

Hello, please make sure to use your images on an article as soon as you upload them, so as to ensure other users don't accidentally upload a duplicate without knowing an image already exists. New game articles

I understand the excitement, but please don't create an article with only the opening sentence in it. New articles need to have as much information about the game as possible upon creation. Nightwicked Bowser 10:21, June 18, 2024 (EDT)

Moving images

Hi! I fixed the typo on the Rainbow Galleria image. If you accidentally make a typo when naming a file, you can just click on the "Page tools" tab and click/tap "Move" so that you can fix it. The Wiki Staff (like me) can then delete the typo redirect. Sparks (talk) 13:47, June 18, 2024 (EDT)

OGG files

Keep in mind that any .ogg audio files you upload should be uploaded as .oga. You can change the extension in the file name from your device or the upload screen or move it afterwards and it won't affect the file. Mario JC 22:40, January 8, 2025 (EST)

Nintendo Today! wallpapers

This kind of thing normally wouldn’t need to be addressed, but the app and website state that the wallpapers are for personal enjoyment and cannot be processed, reproduced, or redistributed without permission. In other words, they’re unfortunately not allowed on the wiki. I tagged them for deletion and already removed them from the other pages that used them, so if they happen to be gone from your page before you see this, that is why.
