[Nintendo Direct project]
Nintendo Direct is a brand of online presentations broadcast by Nintendo in which information is relayed about the company's upcoming content. These presentations typically bring together announcements and showcases for multiple franchises, although a number of them have focused on a particular franchise or production. Since the brand's inception in 2011, Nintendo Direct presentations have been broadcast in a variety of formats to an international audience.

Nintendo Land was then highlighted, with mentions of Mario Chase, Luigi's Ghost Mansion, Yoshi's Fruit Cart, and Donkey Kong's Crash Course. Later on, New Super Mario Bros. U was spotlighted as a launch game for the Wii U and highlights various features to the game like Boost Mode and the ability to play as your Mii. Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Wii U Edition was shown in a sizzle reel where a Mega Mushroom is being collected in the middle of a battle, along with Mario and Luigi costumes that can be worn in-game.
