Piantas in Need is the sixth episode of Pianta Village in Super Mario Sunshine. The episode's objective is to rescue the Piantas in the village. The music that plays in this episode is a variation of the main Pianta Village theme.
Layout[edit]
As soon as the player starts the level, the Pianta mayor will say that he has returned from his vacation to find 10 of the village's Piantas trapped in burning goop. The player will be given 3 minutes to rescue all ten of the trapped Piantas. In order for a Pianta to be marked as "rescued", the player has to spray the burning goop on the ground to get the Pianta back on the surface and then clean the Pianta off. The Piantas are only found within the main village. After rescuing all ten Piantas, the timer will stop and the player has to go back and talk to the mayor to receive a Shine Sprite. Failing to rescue the Piantas within the time limit will result in Mario losing a life. The locations of the Piantas are:
- Four are found near the large tree next to the village's entrance.
- On the right side of the village.
- Two are located near the golden mushroom.
- South of the large tree in the center.
- On the left side of the village, next to the arc.
- To the right of the spa.
