Toad balloons,[1] also referred to as Toad coins,[2] are items that appear in Enemy Courses in New Super Mario Bros. Wii. The player has to collect all eight balloons to defeat all enemies and spawn a chest. Opening it reveals a Toad, who rewards the player with three Super Mushrooms. Toad balloons appear in every world except World 9, which lacks Enemy Courses.
