Template:Level 25m is the first level of Donkey Kong. The level starts with a stubborn ape by the name of Donkey Kong stealing Pauline, the girlfriend of Jumpman (the hero of the game). The player takes control of Jumpman as he jumps over barrels and climbs to the top of 25m, where Donkey Kong and Pauline are located, via a series of ladders. Jumpman also finds hammers around the area which he uses to smash the barrels with. After reaching the top of the 25m, Donkey Kong grabs Pauline and climbs up to 50m.

Jumpman has only three lives and will lose one if the player makes Jumpman touch a barrel, a Fireball, or if Jumpman falls down a hole. When Jumpman loses a life, he will spin around and fall on the floor; a halo will then appear over his head. Once the player has lost all their lives they will get a Game Over and have to start all over again.
