Yoshi's Island DS depicts Peach's beginnings as a child who is already residing in her castle, leaving the source of her appearance in the Mushroom Kingdom open to interpretation, as opposed to the definite origin of Baby Mario and Baby Luigi, who were delivered by storks.

Baby Peach is one of the seven star children. She is one of the babies kidnapped by Kamek and his Toady army at the start of the game so that the adult Bowser from the future can steal their abilities to take over the whole universe. A Toady enters her castle through a tower window and steals her away. However, the Stork finds Kamek and attacks the pack of Toadies. He manages to release Baby Mario and Baby Peach, who both plummet to Yoshi's Island below, but he fails to rescue Baby Luigi. Baby Peach softens her fall by floating down with her parasol. She is found by Yoshi and Baby Mario in World 1-5, and then kidnapped by a group of a pack of Ukikis, but thanks to the help of Baby DK, Yoshi is able to save her. Ultimately, she alongside Baby Mario, Baby DK, and Baby Wario save Baby Luigi from Bowser's clutches.

The Super Mario Bros. Movie is a later portrayal of Peach's childhood. In the film, Princess Peach recalls that her earliest memory was of her as a baby emerging from a Warp Pipe into the Mushroom Kingdom. She was found by some Toads, to which she states "[she] was so lucky they found [her]". She then proceeds to take her pacifier out of her mouth and into a green Toad's mouth, giggling, before embracing the Toad. Subsequently the Toads took her in as one of their own, raising her until they crowned her as princess. She mentions not knowing where she came from.

Super Mario series[edit]

Super Mario Bros.[edit]

Toadstool's first appearance

Princess Toadstool, as she is called, is a non-playable character in Super Mario Bros. This is her first appearance overall. In the backstory, Bowser invades the Mushroom Kingdom, transforms its inhabitants into various objects, and kidnaps the princess to prevent her from being able to reverse the spell.[1] Princess Toadstool is eventually rescued by Mario and Luigi, who went on a journey to rescue her. In both the Super Mario All-Stars and Super Mario Bros. Deluxe reissues, Toadstool also kisses the player character on the cheek. If the player character rescues Toadstool while in his Small form in the first remake only, he is automatically given a Super Mushroom right before the kiss,[2] though in the second remake, Peach kneels to kiss the character in his Small form instead.[3] The Super Mario All-Stars release shows Toadstool in a cage above the lava, which had been reverted in Super Mario Bros. Deluxe, instead showing Toadstool on the ground, like in the original game.

Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels[edit]

Princess Peach (which was always her name outside of anglophone regions) is a non-playable character in Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels. Peach is kidnapped by Bowser again and eventually rescued by Mario or Luigi after he defeats Bowser. Peach is found in a room behind a door, and her subjects celebrated around them after she recited a poem. In the Super Mario All-Stars release, Peach is located in a cage dangling above a lava pit, like in the Super Mario Bros. remake within the same game. In the second remake included in Super Mario Bros. Deluxe, Peach is on the floor behind the destroyed bridge instead. In All Night Nippon Super Mario Bros, Peach is shown dressed as a geisha.

Super Mario Bros. 2 / Super Mario Advance[edit]

Princess Toadstool is a playable character in the Western Super Mario Bros. 2. She replaces Lina from the original game, Yume Kojo: Doki Doki Panic. Toadstool joins Mario, Luigi and Toad, the three other playable characters, to free Subcon from Wart. Peach's main ability is briefly floating after jumping, but she has slightly poor vertical jumps. Toadstool is the weakest of the player characters, as the takes the longest to pick up or pull out items.

Super Mario Bros. 3 / Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3[edit]

“Thank you. But our Princess is in another castle!...Just kidding! Ha ha ha! Bye bye.”
—Princess Toadstool, Super Mario Bros. 3
Princess Toadstool in Super Mario Bros. 3
Toadstool as she appears in Super Mario Bros. 3

Princess Toadstool is both a supporting and a non-playable character in Super Mario Bros. 3. For most of the game, Toadstool is not the damsel-in-distress, and she helps Mario and Luigi by sending items and supplying advice via letters to them. It is not until the defeat of Ludwig when Princess Toadstool gets kidnapped, revealed in a letter from Bowser. Mario and Luigi travel to Bowser's hideout in Dark Land and rescue her. In international releases, Toadstool joking says to the player character that she can be found in another castle.[4]

Toadstool has a slightly larger role in Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3. In the opening, Toadstool is shown receiving a letter about how the Koopalings are taking over various lands nearby and then dispatching Mario and Luigi. When the player character reaches the second area of World 8, Toadstool is seen transposed on a warp pipe behind a locked gate with the help bubble emerging, before suddenly vanishing while either screaming or crying for Mario. Toadstool's line of being in another castle was not retained in this version. She is displayed on the key art of the Blue Green Switch card.

For the 25th Anniversary release for Super Mario All-Stars, Nintendo submitted a letter with Toadstool being the in-universe author, in which she explains that she needs to find new pen-pals, after years of sending letters to Mario. Toadstool states that she sent a power-up for the reader and that they not tell Mario, lest he possibly get jealous, and provides a hint about how they should keep their power up handy as they re-discover their adventures in Super Mario All-Stars. Lastly, Toadstool informs the reader that they can get in touch with her "at another castle".

Super Mario World / Super Mario World: Super Mario Advance 2[edit]

Princess Toadstool is a non-playable character in Super Mario World. She is on a vacation in Dinosaur Land with Mario and Luigi, only to be kidnapped by Bowser again and taken to his castle in the Valley of Bowser. Toadstool is only seen during the final boss fight and ending. In the battle, Toadstool is kept with Bowser in the Koopa Clown Car, from which she sometimes throws power-up items for the player character. After she is rescued, Toadstool kisses Mario or Luigi on the cheek, and during the credits, travels with Mario, Luigi, and Yoshi to Yoshi's House to observe the hatching of the rescued eggs with the other Yoshis.

In the reissue, Toadstool accompanies Mario and Luigi via hot-air balloon and looks on as Mario and Luigi explore in Dinosaur Land while in their Cape form. Mario and Luigi later return to find Toadstool gone, having been abducted by Koopas. The end sequence was slightly changed to have the Mario Bros. fly behind Toadstool, who is riding a Yoshi, to set up a picnic. Additionally, collecting all of the Dragon Coins now results in them being replaced by Princess Coins, which have her likeness instead of Yoshi's.

BS Super Mario USA[edit]

Peach is a playable character in BS Super Mario USA, playing exactly as she did in Super Mario Bros. 2. Set after the events of the original game, the King of Subcon summons her, Mario, Luigi, and Toad back to Subcon to drive out Wart and his 8 bits, who are invading again. The player is unable to select Peach herself, as all episodes start off with the player as Mario, but through timed in-game events the player is forcibly swapped out with the main four characters due to the Super Birdos and Mouser using their Crystal Balls. With all Satellaview games, while Peach tries to keep up her typical polite behavior, she will become filled with rage if pushed too far. In BS Super Mario USA, if the Birdos taunt her too much, Peach will angrily throw Giant Vegetables from off-screen that can damage the player as well as one-shot lesser enemies and the Birdos themselves. Also as part of the timed events, Peach has the ability to either clear the screen of enemies, turn enemies into small hearts, or summon a Love-Love Fire.

In the first episode, when Peach gets swapped in as the player character, she is granted brief abilities that make her do an instant power jump or give her POW Block landings (which some characters liken to a Thwomp). After Peach gets angry the first time, the King speculates she started to behave out of character due to the enemies' theft of the Golden Mario Statue, since the statue resembles Mario in appearance. Although she tries to maintain her composure, the bullying from the Birdos makes her break down crying, leaving Mario to console her after the episode ends.

In the second episode, she assists the King and his Commander with organizing their warehouse after a rampage from a Big Phanto. Later on, the Birdos decide to taunt Peach relentlessly again, so in an effort to prevent her rage, Luigi and Toad close her in a castle room. Once the Birdos try to start a rumor about Peach's neck growing longer in the middle of the night, Peach is heard yelling at the Birdos from outside the castle, having somehow escaped her room. After some back and forth, Peach throws another set of Giant Vegetables, one of them squashing Mouser and knocking him out.

In the third episode, since the King and Commander are unable to see through the world of snow and ice from their castle, the Commander sends one of his phones to Peach to facilitate communications. The Birdos see the phone and try to come up with plans to steal it for themselves. First, Fryguy attempts to politely ask Peach if she would lend the phone, but he is met with a terrifying glare from Peach that makes him quickly retreat. Birdo Pink later comes up with a story about how she was bullied by her sisters, so she runs over to the heroes' base so that Peach can console her. Peach offers Pink to join them as citizens of Subcon and asks for the King's permission over the phone. Pink asks to give a personal thank you to the King over the phone, and once Peach passes it over, Pink runs away with the phone to celebrate the successful steal with her sisters, which results in Peach once again angrily throwing Giant Vegetables.

In the final episode, Mario spots Clawgrip from their base and he decides to scout them alone. Once Mario comes back, he talks very strangely to Peach and Toad, saying that Clawgrip is too strong and they should all head back home. Peach instead goes to ask the King for some advice, and a report from the Commander reveals that Clawgrip has the ability to transform, but the report makes no mention of his supposed strength. Peach returns to interrogate "Mario", but when gets angry at "Mario" for getting all the questions wrong, Clawgrip reveals himself. Peach, in her continued anger, hits Clawgrip and he runs away while crying. Later on, Peach finds Tryclyde, who betrayed the 8 bits in the second episode, working in a Subcon factory, and she asks him for ideas on where the real Mario could be locked up. Tryclyde tells her, and Peach says Tryclyde will be gifted some oil as a thank you. Before Peach can relay the information to the King, Birdo Green intercepts by using the Crystal Ball to swap her in as the player character. Later, the Birdos decide they want to keep Peach in captivity, so they swap her out with Mario. Peach then realizes from her conversation with Tryclyde that she's in Wart's secret tunnel in Sub-Space and is able to easily free herself from the ropes that kept Mario because of her slender figure. Once she escapes and meets up with Luigi and Toad, they all visit the King to reveal the way to Wart. Peach asks the King to call in the Subcon citizens so that they can all attack Wart at once, and to make a big batch of the Potions to allow everyone entry into Sub-space. The King oddly refuses, saying that the heroes have been relying on him too much and must now fight Wart on their own, to which Peach reluctantly agrees. Suddenly, Tryclyde comes in to claim his oil and is able to sense the "King" is not himself, so he sets the fake King on fire to make Clawgrip reveal himself. They all find the real King trapped in a wardrobe, but Peach is now reluctant to ask for help after Clawgrip's words. To encourage her, the King, Luigi, and Toad all promise to work with Peach to take down Wart. In the end, Wart is defeated, the King thanks the heroes for their courage and friendship, and they all go back home.

Super Mario 64 / Super Mario 64 DS[edit]

Peach is a non-playable character in Super Mario 64 and Super Mario 64 DS. She invites Mario to the Mushroom Castle for cake, although Bowser takes over the Power Stars and seals Peach in the fresco over the entrance of the castle. Mario can optionally read two memos from Peach on his journey to rescue her, including The Princess's Secret Slide[5] and Bowser in the Dark World, teaching Mario how to fight Bowser (though it is only directly addressed as her in the original version). After Mario defeats Bowser and rescues Peach, she thanks Mario by kissing him and baking him a cake.

The localized anglophone releases mark the only instances in the Super Mario franchise to use both Peach's common name and her original Western name. International releases formerly type the latter with "Toadstool" and personally signed with "Peach" in pink underneath,[6] marking a transition to the widespread use of Peach's name internationally. International releases added a voice clip of Peach reading the letter. Both the Rumble Pak Compatible Version version and Super Mario 64 DS are additionally the only instances of both "Peach" and "Toadstool" being used in the same game outside of International releases, but only from the voice clip originating from international releases of Super Mario 64.[7]

Super Mario Sunshine[edit]

Peach is both a supporting and a non-playable character in Super Mario Sunshine, which is also the first game to start establishing her modern design for the Super Mario franchise. She boards an airplane to Isle Delfino with Mario and Toadsworth for a vacation. While watching the tour video, Peach notices an ominous figure resembling Mario and tries to inform Mario and Toadsworth, both of whom are too distracted by the thought of what to do on vacation. At the airstrip, Peach is unsuccessful again at informing Mario and Toadsworth of the doppelganger's presence. Before Mario leaves to find help, she warns him to be careful, as she has an ominous feeling about the situation. Not too long after, when Mario is put on trail for supposedly polluting Isle Delfino, Peach is unsuccessful at defending him and informing of the shadowy doppelganger. While Mario is cleaning Delfino Plaza as part of his sentencing, Shadow Mario appears, grabs Peach and runs off, but Mario manages to rescue her. After Mario collects ten Shine Sprites, Shadow Mario kidnaps Peach again and takes her to Pinna Park. When Mario confronts Shadow Mario after battling his Mecha-Bowser, Shadow Mario reveals his true identity, Bowser Jr., who says that Peach is his mother and that he is protecting her from Mario. Bowser Jr. then flees with Peach to Corona Mountain. In the last area, Peach is found in a giant hot tub with Bowser and Bowser Jr. Peach, not wanting to enter the green water, is rescued again after Mario defeats Bowser, and she shows Mario that the power of the Shine Sprites brought the sunshine back to Isle Delfino. Peach, Mario, and Toadsworth then spend the remainder of their vacation as they had originally intended.

New Super Mario Bros.[edit]

Princess Peach is a non-playable character in New Super Mario Bros. Peach is first seen with Mario in the intro cutscene, taking a walk around the castle, which is then struck by lightning. As Mario investigates, Bowser Jr. sneaks behind Peach and kidnaps her. Mario chases Bowser Jr., throughout the Mushroom Kingdom. Mario is able to eventually confront both Bowser Jr. and his dad, Bowser, by rescuing Peach in the end. To show her thanks, Peach kisses Mario on the cheek, causing him to chuckle nervously.

Super Mario Galaxy[edit]

Peach is a non-playable character in Super Mario Galaxy and its Nintendo Switch port. She invites Mario to the Star Festival, only for Bowser to soon lift Peach's Castle out of the ground and take Peach to the creation of his new galaxy. Mario tries to ride the castle before being attacked by Kamek, sending him flying into space. With the help of a Luma, Mario sets off to rescue Peach. Peach sends Mario letters with 1-Up Mushrooms throughout the game. After Mario rescues Peach and the universe is saved, Mario and Peach wake up in the Mushroom Kingdom reunited.

New Super Mario Bros. Wii[edit]

Princess Peach in a cage

Peach is a non-playable character in New Super Mario Bros. Wii. It is her birthday, and Peach is celebrating it with friends at the castle. During that time, Bowser Jr. and the Koopalings bring a cake into the castle and kidnap Peach, taking her to their airship. Mario, Luigi, and both Yellow Toad and Blue Toad give chase to hold them accountable. They eventually manage to find her in Bowser's airship, but Magikoopa takes her to Bowser's Castle and locks her in a cage before disguising himself as her and locks himself in another. After being rescued, Peach takes a hot air balloon alongside Mario, and she either also alludes to a secret world that she has to tell Mario about, or otherwise asks him how his adventure was like.

Peach was initially planned to have a playable role in the game, although technical difficulties regarding her dress resulted in this concept being dropped in the final version.[8]

Super Mario Galaxy 2[edit]

Peach is a non-playable character in Super Mario Galaxy 2 and its Nintendo Switch port. Like the first game, the intro begins with Peach inviting Mario to the Star Festival again. When Mario arrives, a giant Bowser kidnaps Peach. Once Mario defeats Bowser, he returns to the Festival and enjoys a giant cake. In the end, when Mario collects the final Grand Star, he and Peach pose together.

Super Mario 3D Land[edit]

Peach is a non-playable character in Super Mario 3D Land. She is kidnapped by Bowser while investigating the damage that a ferocious storm had dealt to the Tail Tree. When Mario and a few Toads notice this the next day, Mario gives chase to find Peach and bring her back to safety. The postcards sent by Peach reveal that she managed to knock out a Goomba and had an unsuccessful attempt at escaping before Bowser placed her in a nearby cage. After Mario defeats Bowser the first time, Peach is taken by Bowser to his second castle, where she is tied to a Goal Pole. Peach tries to warn the player character about Bowser's incoming attack. After Bowser is defeated again, Peach is freed by Mario, and they dance together briefly before the Toads reappear with Super Leaves, allowing them and Mario to fly Peach back to her castle during the credits. When the game is completed entirely, a picture is shown of Peach accidentally gaining a Tanooki Suit-styled dress.

New Super Mario Bros. 2[edit]

Peach is a non-playable character in New Super Mario Bros. 2. She is kidnapped by the Koopalings while Mario and Luigi explore the castle grounds. Upon learning of the kidnapping, Mario and Luigi give chase to hold each Koopaling (and Bowser) accountable for the capture and rescue Peach at the end. During the credits, Peach is carried by Mario until they reach the castle, to which they then do a curtsy.

New Super Mario Bros. U / New Super Luigi U / New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe[edit]

Peach and her Toad guards in New Super Mario Bros. U

Peach is a non-playable character in New Super Mario Bros. U and New Super Luigi U. She is held captive in her own castle after Bowser throws the player characters out during a tea party. When the four notice from Acorn Plains that Peach's castle is held under siege, they give chase to rescue Peach and take back the castle. When the four reach the castle and manage to defeat Bowser for the first time, Peach can be seen high above a lone tower pleading for the heroes' help until bars and a barrier cover up the window and block further communication. She is rescued after Mario (absent from New Super Luigi U), Luigi, Yellow and Blue Toad prevail against the final battle against Bowser and Bowser Jr., and also proceeded to witness alongside the others the hasty retreat of Bowser's Minions.

For the New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe installment, Toadette gains a form known as Peachette (after obtaining the Super Crown), which causes her to look much like Peach and gain Peach's Floating Jump. If the player fights Bowser and Bowser Jr. as Peachette, just prior to the boss fight, Peach will notice Peachette and express confusion before the barrier covers up the window.

Princess Peach is a playable character in Super Mario 3D World and Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury alongside Mario, Luigi and Toad. Her inclusion was suggested by game producer Yoshiaki Koizumi.[9] Peach is first seen in the intro, taking a nighttime walk with Mario, Luigi, and Toad. Shortly after the Mario Bros. repair a Clear Pipe, the Green Sprixie Princess emerges from it, followed by Bowser, who traps her into a jar. Peach is the first to try and stop Bowser, immediately running for the Pipe and falling into it. She is joined by her friends in their quest across the realms of the Sprixie Kingdom to free the Sprixie Princesses and defeat Bowser. Peach is the second slowest playable character after the unlockable Rosalina. Peach's jumps are tied with Mario's as the third best. Peach has the ability to temporarily hover in the air, as she did in Super Mario Bros. 2. Like every other character in the game, she can use all of the power-ups that appear. Her appearance changes slightly when using some of the power-ups, most notably the Fire Flower; when she grabs one, her hair, which is normally worn hanging down, is pulled back into a ponytail. Peach's Tanooki Suit is darker and has puffy pants and dark boots, rather than its Super Mario 3D Land design. When power-up forms and items are set to match each characters' color, Peach's are always pink (Fire form aside, as that form is white and red instead), as her Cat Suit, Boomerang Suit, Koopa Shell (while shell dashing), Propeller Box, Cannon Box, Light Box, and Ice Skate are all that color.

Though Peach is not in Bowser's Fury, the kittens' colors other than the calico ones match those of Super Mario 3D World playable cast's Cat forms other than Mario, with the magenta one matching Peach's.

Super Mario Maker[edit]

Peach is a character in Super Mario Maker. In the 10-Mario and 100-Mario Challenges, Peach is kidnapped by a group of Goombas, so Mario goes to rescue her, successfully doing so in the latter challenge after the player completes a set number of levels uploaded by other players chosen at random. There is a Mystery Mushroom costume of Peach that can be unlocked either at random from completing the 100-Mario Challenge, or by scanning a Peach amiibo. The Peach costume replaces the usual Super Mario Bros. sound effects with sounds from Super Mario Bros. 2.

Super Mario Run[edit]

Peach is an unlockable playable character in Super Mario Run. She starts the game having baked a cake for Mario. However, she is kidnapped by Bowser, who attacks the Mushroom Kingdom destroys her castle. Peach becomes playable after Bowser is defeated in Bowser's Bob-ombing Run, the last normal course of World Tour mode. As a player character, Peach can use the Floaty Jump. In this game it has her slowly descend in midair rather than briefly hover. This replaces the Midair Spin for her. If Peach is used to complete Bowser's Bob-ombing Run, she rescues Toad instead of herself. Doing so happens to be a mission in the game, unlocking the course Scuttlebug Forest.

In Kingdom Builder, Peach appears in front of her castle/tent after completing Bowser's Bob-ombing Run. She sways back and forth. As with all of the Toads, tapping on her makes her jump.

A number of buildings and decorations are themed after Peach, including a topiary, a statue, a 8-bit statue with a voxel version of her sprite from Super Mario Bros., a golden statue, and a Goal Pole. Additionally, events have added Peach statues based on games released after Super Mario Run, such as one based on her wedding dress design in Super Mario Odyssey, and three depicting her appearance in Princess Peach: Showtime! Two of the Princess Peach: Showtime! ones depict the transformations Swordfighter Peach and Patissiere Peach, while the last depicts her base appearance while being paired with Stella.

Super Mario Odyssey[edit]

Artwork of Peach in her wedding dress for Super Mario Odyssey

Peach is a non-playable character in Super Mario Odyssey, once again taking her signature role as the damsel in distress. In the game, Bowser makes an attempt to marry Peach, and large billboards and posters advertising the marriage can be seen throughout the different kingdoms in the game. Peach spends the majority of the game wearing a special wedding dress called the Lochlady Dress. Peach is also seen to be wearing a tiara, instead of her usual crown. The tiara is revealed to be Cappy's sister, Tiara. Peach is rescued eventually at the Moon Kingdom, and she rejects both Mario and Bowser while they argue over her, much to their disappointment. When Peach decides to leave for home on the Odyssey, she beckons them to join her. In the post-game, Peach disappears from her castle, having decided to explore the various kingdoms on her own terms with Tiara. She can be encountered at various kingdoms in a variety of outfits, where she provides Mario with the relevant Power Moon when talked with. After giving Mario the Power Moon, she then makes a brief comment that hints at her next destination. After meeting and obtaining a Power Moon from her in every kingdom, she returns to her castle, though the player can still see her in kingdoms where she was previously encountered, where she now gives comments that are related to the kingdoms.

Concept art shows that Peach at one point was going to be captured by Bowser.[10] Another concept art from the same book indicated that Mario and Peach would have actually married.[11][dead link] In addition, at least two cut outfits were unveiled in concept art, including one depicting Peach in a Japanese-style coach wearing a pink kimono as an initial version of the outfit she wore at Bowser's Kingdom. The other was her wearing a pink-colored Arabian bellydancer outfit while sitting near a camel, presumably meant to be used at the Sand Kingdom.

Super Mario Maker 2[edit]

Peach is a non-playable character in Super Mario Maker 2. She appears at the end of the Story Mode once her castle is completed and rewards Mario with a kiss. Peach also offers two jobs, as well as a third if the player gives Chief 1,000 coins up to ten times to complete a statue of Mario. Each of her jobs rewards a wearable outfit for the player's Maker Mii: the Princess Peach Dress, Princess Peach Wig, and Princess Peach Tennis Outfit, respectively.

Peach's 8-bit form from the Mystery Mushroom in the previous game also briefly appears when the player starts a new game in Course World's Endless Mode.

Super Mario Bros. Wonder[edit]

Peach is a playable character in Super Mario Bros. Wonder. She has the same attributes as Mario and most other characters, so she cannot use a Float Jump. With power-ups, Peach can transform into her Elephant form, Bubble form, or Drill form. She also does not have her hair tied up into a ponytail in her Fire form, with her appearance now in line with The Super Mario Bros. Movie and her alternate costume in the Super Smash Bros. series. If Peach is chosen for the level The Final Battle! Bowser's Rage Stage, Bowser will call Peach his beloved and Peach will react in shock.

Dr. Mario series[edit]

—Nurse Toadstool, Dr. Mario NES manual, page 3

In the Dr. Mario series, Peach wears a pink nurse outfit. Peach is a minor character in Dr. Mario, named Nurse Peach in the Japanese manual (Nurse Toadstool in localized editions). She also had a brief cameo alongside Dr. Mario on the Japanese instructions for cleaning Famicom cassettes, with some official artwork cropping her lower half off.[12][13] Nurse Toadstool would presumably be Dr. Mario's close personal assistant, but she does not have a major role in any version of the game and barely appears outside promotional artwork. In the Tips of Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, the name Nurse Peach is used instead.

In the Club Nintendo comic "Süße Weihnachten", Nurse Toadstool assists Dr. Mario.

She appears in Dr. Mario World, this time referred to as Dr. Peach and is one of the game's playable characters. She decides to assume this role in order to help out her subjects, who have been infected by the Viruses. She is available as one of the doctors after beating stage 3, or by beating the special stage in World 14. She wears a soft-pink lab coat, unlike other characters who wear white coats, and white heels instead of her usual red. When activated, Dr. Peach's skill is represented by multiple silhouettes of her, and a pink beam of light appears and clears a random column on the board.[14] C
