Adventures with Luigi is a LEGO Super Mario starter course released on August 1, 2021, as part of the third wave of the theme. Like Adventures with Mario, the set features an interactive figure, this time of Luigi, a Start Pipe, and a Goal Pole. The three elements can be used to create playable levels. The set itself consists of a few brown bases, poison-themed bases with a gear-powered tower containing a seesaw, and a few desert-themed bases. Other objects include a ? Block and three platforms. All parts of the set are intended to be connected in customized layouts. A standalone gear piece can also be used as a moving platform. By placing Luigi (or another interactive figure) on this set's Start Pipe, the player starts 60 seconds timer. They can then play through the level by using Luigi to scan Action Tags in order to gain coins. "Ground BGM" from Super Mario Bros. plays from the figure's speaker while a level is active. If Luigi touches the Goal Pole within the time limit, the level is won and the player's coin count is counted. If the timer expires, the coins are lost.

The large tower contained in the set has three Action Tags on it. One at the top and one on each end of the tower's seesaw. By placing Luigi on any of them, they are able to collect coins as the tower rotates or as the seesaw swings. "World 8 Map (Dark Land)" plays while the figure is on the platform. A fourth Action Tag is found on top of a large gear. When placed on top, Luigi can rotate the gear which, when connected to the base of the tower, rotates it as well. When Luigi jumps on the ? Block, he wins one of six items: a Super Mushroom (which gives him one extra life), a Super Star (which grants him temporary invincibility and the ability to defeat any enemy in one hit), one coin, five coins, ten coins, or 15 extra seconds.

Two figures are included in the set: The Bone Goomba figure has an Action Tag on its head, and it can be defeated in one jump, which grants Luigi one coin. Boom Boom instead has an Action Tag on its shell, and it takes eight hits for him to be defeated, which then grants several coins at the end.

The modular nature of the starter course allows for additional expansion sets sold separately to be connected to it, creating longer courses with more obstacles.
