Template:Levelbox World 9-6 is the sixth level of World 9 in New Super Mario Bros. Wii. This level is a lava level, where platforms emerge and descend into the lava. The only enemies in the entire level are Flame Chomps, which can make the level a bit more difficult.
Layout
This level is a lava level with various Lava Geysers and Flame Chomps. Towards the beginning, Mario must jump over various rock pillars while avoiding the lava geysers. Later, there are moving lifts, including some that even dip into the lava, making timing crucial. Towards the end, there are more of these platforms, this time moving in more intricate paths.
Star Coins
- Star Coin 1: The first Star Coin is in a hidden rock passage shortly before the long row of small, rail-riding platforms.
- Star Coin 2: Soon after the first Flame Chomp, the second Star Coin is floating between two walls. Mario and co. must jump to it, then wall kick to safety before touching the Lava.
- Star Coin 3: The third Star Coin is in a small alcove below the exit Warp Pipe. Mario and co. must jump to it while the Lava geyser isn't active.
