World 8-6 (New Super Mario Bros. Wii)

Template:Levelbox World 8-6 is the sixth level of World 8 in New Super Mario Bros. Wii. It appears to resemble World 8-6 from New Super Mario Bros.

Layout

It has been requested that this section be rewritten and expanded to include more information.

This course takes place in a volcano with rising magma. The player has to advance upward quickly to avoid it. During the second part of the level, there are pendulums that help the player keep climbing. All of the Star Coins are in plain sight. Propeller Mushrooms are the main power-up in this level.

Star Coins

  • Star Coin 1: Above the moving platform with the Trampoline are two paths, and the first Star Coin is located in the left one. Mario and co. can either use the Trampoline or a Propeller Suit to reach it.
  • Star Coin 2: The second Star Coin is located in the next set of split paths after the one with the first Star Coin, on the left. Mario and co. can either fly to it with a Propeller Suit, or wall kick to it.
  • Star Coin 3 (pictured): The third Star Coin is to the left of the exit Warp Pipe, surrounded by eight other Coins. Mario and co. can again use a Propeller Suit to reach it, or jump on the pendulum as it swings to the left.
