Template:Levelbox World 2-4 is the fourth level of World 2 in New Super Mario Bros. Wii. It is unlocked via completion of World 2-Tower, and its own completion unlocks World 2-5 and World 2-6. A secret exit unlocks a shortcut to World 2-Castle.

Layout

This level has many floating coins and Koopas, as well as POW Blocks. Every few seconds, a strong wind blows in the level, forcing the player to the right.

Star Coins

  • Star Coin 1: On the platform not long after the area with the first POW Block, there are three Hidden Blocks in the shape of "^", and the one on top contains a Beanstalk. This leads to an area with several more Hidden Blocks and two ? Blocks. Mario and co. should find openings in the rows of Hidden Blocks and jump to the first Star Coin which is floating high in the air.
  • Star Coin 2: A Propeller Suit is required for this one. To the right of the Checkpoint Flag, below normal ground, is a Green Pipe. This Pipe leads to an area with several Coins, and the second Star Coin. Mario and co. should fall to the Star Coin then activate the Propeller Suit to fly to safety before falling.
  • Star Coin 3: A Propeller Suit is required for this one also. To the right of the Pipe that leads from the area with the second Star Coin, Mario and co. should wait for the Wind to blow, dash, jump, then activate the Propeller Suit to fly up to the third Star Coin which is floating below a platform with a Brick Block and a ? Block.

Secret Exit

This exit also requires a Propeller Suit. After the third Star Coin, there are two platforms with one Spike Top each. When the wind begins to blow, the player must perform a running double jump and fly up to the enclosed area with a red pipe. This secret exit leads to a warp pipe in the World Map, which leads directly to World 2-Castle.
