The course starts off in a small area with a Semi-Solid Platform. To get to it, the player must either use the Big Parabones on a lit Bob-omb, or use the wall at the end. Above the Semi-Solid Platform is a ? Block containing a Super Mushroom on a Fire Flower. On the right are Donut Blocks and two Vines. Climbing the vine takes the player to an area of Ice Blocks guarded by a Dry Bones and two Bumpers on tracks. At the end is a Flimsy Lift on a track, which is used to get to the top. Alternatively, the player can jump off the Dry Bones and Wall Jump to the top. After going right a bit, the player needs to drop down onto Donut Blocks. Then, the player needs to climb Mushroom Platforms guarded by a Dry Bones and a Parabones. Above the Mushroom Platform is another Flimsy Lift on a track, which can help the player get to the Warp Door. After taking the door, there are six Conveyors. After reaching the bottom, there is a hallway containing Semi-Solid Platforms and Lifts. At the end of the hallway are two Red Koopa Troopas and four Piranha Plants on two Warp Pipes. Using a Koopa Troopa shell or a Ground Pound on a ? Block releases a Vine. At the top, the player needs to go left past Piranha Plants and Winged Piranha Plants. Then, the player can get a Buzzy Beetle Shell either out in the middle or from a Warp Pipe. After the Buzzy Beetle shell, the path splits into two. At the end of both paths are Munchers. However, the lower path can get rid of the Munchers in the top path if the player is Super Mario or Buzzy Mario due to them being on a Brick Block. However, if the player is Buzzy Mario, they do not need to go back around. After getting past the Munchers, the player takes the Warp Pipe to the sub area.

World 16-4 is the fourth and last level of World 16 of Super Mario Challenge from Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS.

Course layout[edit]

The course starts off in a small area with a Semisolid Platform. To get to it, the player must either use the Big Parabones on a lit Bob-omb, or use the wall at the end. Above the Semisolid Platform is a ? After taking the door, there are six Conveyor Belts. After reaching the bottom, there is a hallway containing Semisolid Platforms and Lifts. Then, the player can get a Buzzy Shell either out in the middle or from a Warp Pipe. After the Buzzy Shell, the path splits into two.

In the sub area, the player can use a POW Block to take out two Big Munchers and get Yoshi. Yoshi can help the player cross the Spike Traps without taking damage, but the player can also cross them while taking damage. There is a Super Mushroom in a ? Block after the Spike Traps. The path then splits into two. The lower path is filled with Grinders, which only Yoshi can cross. At the end of the lower path, the player needs to get to the top by either climbing a vine (which leaves Yoshi behind) or use fire from a Burner to shot a Mega Bob-omb which drops a coin into a Junior Clown Car, which comes to Mario. The player cannot get to the Junior Clown Car manually due to One-Way Walls. The upper path is taken via vine, but the player can get back Yoshi by going in the nearby Warp Door. Buzzy Mario is required to get past this section due to the ceiling being made of Spike Traps. After the two paths merge, there is a Dry Bones and a few coins before the Warp Pipe back to the main area. There is also a secret area that can be reached either by using Yoshi or the Junior Clown Car. In the secret area is a Hidden Block containing a 1-Up Mushroom.

Back in the main area, the player needs to use a Bob-omb (either from out in the open or from a Warp Pipe above) to blow up Hard Blocks holding up a Bull's-Eye Blaster that shoots Fire Flowers. There is a Burner near the Hard Blocks which can light the Bob-omb if it is not already lit. Two Sledge Bros. are in an inaccessible area below the area. Also, near the Warp Pipe that spits Bob-ombs are two Brick Blocks with one containing coins, a ? Block containing a Super Mushroom, and a Hidden Block containing a 1-Up Mushroom. Past the Bull's-Eye Blaster is a battle against Giant Bowser with two Lava Bubbles and two Sledge Bros. nearby. The player needs to defeat Giant Bowser due to him blocking the Axe and not moving due to Conveyor Belt moving right. If the player is unable to defeat Giant Bowser, they can climb up to a place where a Warp Pipe spits out Fire Flowers and a Buzzy Shell in a Hidden Block. To leave the area, the player needs to Ground Pound Brick Blocks with the bottom two containing coins. There is a Fire Junior Clown Car in a Hidden Block to the right of the Brick Blocks, which is indicated with Super Star rotating around an unreachable Fire Junior Clown Car.
