World 18-4 is the fourth level of World 18 of Super Mario Challenge from Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS.

Course layout[edit]

The level starts out with a Key Door to the far left and a Buzzy Shell from a Pipe above Donut Blocks. To the right is a Brick Block bridge with a Green Koopa Troopa on it and coins above. After the bridge is a Super Mushroom on a Fire Flower above a Semisolid Platform. Afterwards, there are two Lifts, three Cloud Blocks on tracks below coins, and Bumpers on tracks from above the bridge. After a Pipe, a Skewer is found destroying six Hard Blocks while a winged Cloud Block goes between two diagonal tracks. After a bit, two Lifts and two Cloud Blocks on tracks below three coins each are above some Hard Blocks. Then, another Skewer is seen breaking four Hard Blocks below a Super Mushroom on a Fire Flower on two diagonal tracks. After this is a bridge of Brick Blocks with Bowser with the Key on it. A Fire Flower and another Key Door can be found after Bowser. Taking either Key Door leads to a black room with a Checkpoint Flag, but the one nearest Bowser is directly above it. A Warp Pipe is then taken to an almost identical version of the main area. The differences are: there is a Dry Bones instead of a green Koopa Troopa, there are Grinders instead of Bumpers, there are Donut Blocks, but original Donut Blocks stay instead of Cloud Blocks save for two near the second power-up, a Big Bowser instead of a regular size one, more Brick Blocks to have it take longer to get Bowser down, the place where the Key Doors go is tan instead of black, and the level goes left instead of right. After taking the Warp Pipe back to the main area, the goal is nearby.

Challenges[edit]

  • Goomba - Drop Bowser into a hole in the main area and then reach the goal.
  • Bowser - Drop big Bowser into a hole in the subarea and then reach the goal.
